I work to inspire each student through culturally relevant instruction, while cultivating a classroom culture of equity, inclusion, creativity, and team work.  Each student who enters my class will work toward self-improvement while simultaneously building team skills that prepare them for their present and future collaborative environments. I am working to develop leaders by encouraging students to model a quality work ethic, hold themselves and others accountable for their decisions/ actions, make decisions that benefit the common good, and lead by example.
Fun Facts:
*I played water polo for the University of Michigan from 2005-2009
*I was team captain for two out of four years at Michigan
*I joined a community theater group (Buns Park Players) in 2013
*I just became a homeowner and am now an official resident of the Burns Park community!!!
